I use iPhone and Siri to take notes with the Apple Notes app. I say "Hey Siri: new note" and then it asks me what i want it to say, I say the note... and then Siri reads it back to me.

I've looked here, with Google, all the settings I can find on my phone.... does anyone know of a way to keep Siri from reading the note back to me...? The more I use it the more convenient it becomes, and thereby I use it more, and having everything read back to me each time is getting extremely annoying- especially when it's either the 50th time in a day, or a long paragraph.

If anyone knows, I'd be DELIGHTED to be pointed to a setting somewhere.

And in case it matters, I use an iPhone 8 Plus always fully updated, and an Apple watch is NOT involved either. This is the only thing I use Siri for, and only on my iPhone. Thank you!
