On both my iPad and my iPhone, I can ask Siri to "turn on Left and Right in the office" (in Swedish, though), which then activates my two Hue power adapters named Left and Right just fine. However, on my iMac Siri just responds with (after a few seconds delay) "Sorry, I could not play that in the selected speaker".

The power adapters show up just fine in the Home app on all devices.

I would assume that Siri works in the same way on all devices, but that's obviously not the case. Any ideas on how to get Siri to understand what I want on my iMac too?

Apparently, using the word "activate" instead of "turn on" ("sätt på" in Swedish, which can also be interpreted as "put on") works fine with Siri in macOS. Oh well, problem solved, but still annoying that Siri doesn't seem to be the same person on all devices. 😂

Sigh... Same issue with "turn off/stäng av", Siri is expecting it to be a speaker for some reason. And "deactivate/deaktivera" is just re-interpreted as "activate". 😒
