I’ve realized since upgrading my 6s to iOS 11 that Siri no longer behaves the same over Bluetooth in my car (‘14 Prius). After some troubleshooting, I’ve determined that she no longer reads back my texts before offering to send them if I initiate Siri from the home button, but does if I use “Hey Siri”. She also made me unlock the phone before reading a received text, which I’ve never had to do before.
Does anyone know if there are any settings I can change to go back to the old way or is this something I’m going to have to live with? 99% of my Siri usage is in the car for reading/responding to texts, via the home button since Hey Siri isn’t the best. My car doesn’t have Siri Eyes Free, so that isn’t an option.
