Hey guys,

I really need your assistance.
I have an issue regarding Siri and password lock. I have a 4 digit password on my JB'n iP4S w/ ATT and my issue is that even with my password enabled, I can still use Siri to perform a web search which enables Safari and completely unlocks my phone because just by pressing the home button after Safari is open, it takes me right to the launcher/springboard. The only thing I can think of is I had tried out SiriToggles for about 15mins and had "browser changer" also installed from Cydia which I have both since removed after discovering this issue. Have any of you experienced this issue and if so, what was your resolution? TIA

Edit: I have also tried to completely turn off SIRI access from the lockscreen through the password lock options in settings and SIRI is still accessible. I tried turning SIRI completely off then on as well. Activator is also set to "not assigned" for holding down the home button on lockscreen.

That's what happens when you jailbreak.

I hate to have to restore but the feedback looks like that's the only way I suppose. I may wait for 5.1 to rejailbreak. Can iCloud be used when you jailbreak??

I may wait for 5.1 to rejailbreak.
You could be waiting a long time. As far as I've heard, the currently known jailbreak exploits have been patched in the 5.1 betas. And once Apple rolls out 5.1 you will not be able to reinstall 5.0.1.

I agree, you should restore to 5.0.1 now.
Cause once 5.1 comes out you wont be able to restore back to 5.0.1 even with your saved blobs. And a new JB for 5.1 might take months.
Unless something new and drastic is released for the 4S.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm still searching for a method to make my password lock stick even when SIRI executes a web search. I wont' take any chances though. If I don't find anything by tomorrow, I'll just follow the advice and restore before 5.1 is launched. Please let me know if anyone comes across any additional info regarding this issue. TIA

Yes you can still use iCloud after jailbreaking.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it would still work.
