Siri 'play latest album by [artist]'?

Anyone know if there is a way to ask Siri to play the latest/newest album of an artist? I can say to Siri, 'play the latest album by [artist]', and Siri will understand, but play a random album by that artist, not the latest one.

Since albums have a year associated with them, or possibly just when an album was added to the library, I was hoping Siri had awareness, but perhaps not?

Your command should work as anticipated, however I've found recently that I have to say "play the newest album by (artist)" for it to work correctly. It has worked with "latest" in the past, but they've clearly changed something server side in recent weeks.
