Just want to say I love the new ability to ask Siri on another device to play movie on my Apple TV 4K. Because of CEC, it will actually boot up the Apple TV and the TV and the Receiver and configure it all to play. Takes a second but it feels like magic.

It really, really makes me wish it worked with HomePod though. I can't reliably use Siri on any Apple device when at home because the homePod takes over, which is usually not a problem unless it is a skill HomePod can't do (like this one).

you can hold the home button for a second to activate Siri on the phone, (power button if you don't have a home button)
no "hey Siri", no HomePod activation.

if the phone is active, it should maintain control
pick it up and unlock it (face or touchid) and you can "hey Siri" it without the HomePod taking over

the watch does the same, if you raise and "hey Siri" it should maintain on the watch.

It works with my homePod. keep your iPhone face down and it won't respond to "Hey Siri". Has anyone found a way to turn off Apple TV with Siri? What I'v read, we should be able to turn on/off applet TV with Siri with new update.
