Siri refuses to text specific contact

never had this issue before iOS 9. Siri refuses to text a certain contact. She recognizes the contact name perfectly but then asks if I meant different names and when I say no she just gives up.

Anyone have a fix?? I tried editing the contact and adding the contact to favorites with no luck.
