Today I asked Siri on the AW to add a reminder and she told me that the reminder group did not exist, so I manually opened the Reminders app on the AW and indeed there were no reminders and no reminder category.
After looking around a bit, I decided that the best course of action was to un-pair and re-pair the AW (PITA).
This has solved the problem and now I have all of my reminders on the AW again, however one thing I have noticed is that I cannot find the Reminder app listed in the "Watch" iPhone app.
I can still add the Reminders app as a complication, but it is not listed among the list of apps and therefore there is no way to change any settings.
I am not sure of this is the way it has always been, but it is surprising that every other app is present apart from this one.

Can someone please do me a favour and check on their phone to verify if the Reminder app is listed in the "watch" iPhone app among all the others?

I am running iOS 14.1 and WatchOS 7.0.2

I don't have one either, that's interesting. It does show up in my app list, but not in the watch app on my phone
Thanks for checking this out. At least I know I am back to 'normal'.

On my AWSS3, the Reminder app, along with the 1 reminder I have, show.

PS: Awaiting delivery of my AW6. It will be interesting if it shows on that device.

My Apple Watch Series 6 does have the Reminders App. I show my apps in list mode so its in my list alphabetically.

Yes, I also have it on the Watch itself, but it is missing in the "Watch" app on the iPhone.
Open "Watch" app on the phone, scroll down to where all the apps are listed and check if Reminders is present there.

You know, reading really is fundamental, and I should have done a better job the first time round.

Yes, you are right, on the WATCH APP, from my iPhone 11 Pro Max, Reminders is NOT listed. Very odd. At least you can still get to it, and all that, via the iPhone apps.

Never ever looked for it there, I think you can't turn it on or off on the watch
