Siri remote battery replacement

Hello. I have a Siri remote (1st gen version, without the white ring) that had the internal battery fail and expand, pretty much disassembling the Siri remote for me in the process.

I would like to get the remote useable again, so I need a new battery (i think the lightning port is also integrated directly in the same part, according to ifixit.

I have been searching and searching the internet for awhile, but I have been unable to find a replacement battery for the Siri remote. Does anyone know where I can purchase one (even if 3rd party or refurb?). I would hate to trash the whole thing if I can easily get it working with a replacement part.

In the meantime, if you have an iPhone you could use the Remote App to control your Apple TV. MacRumors just featured an alternative Apple remote: https://www.macrumors.com/2020/07/21/function101-alternative-apple-tv-remote-control/ and there are other alternatives out there as well if you didn't want to spend $59 for a new one.
