siri remote skipping when FF or RR ?

OK, I am on YouTube TV with my original 4K box and using the new Siri remote. When I am fast forwarding or rewinding a show, and then I click the center button to play the show...80% of the time it will skip a few minutes ahead or behind from where I stopped it and start playing... doesn't happen every single time but like I said at least 80% of the time.. the original remote did not do this, anyone else have this issue?
