Today my Siri Remote stopped controlling the volume on my Apple TV 4K. Whenever I try to control the volume with my ATV I get the error message in tvOS that says "Pairing Remote: Bring it closer to your Apple TV to continue pairing."
I do as it says, but it doesn't work.
I can only get the Siri Remote to control the volume again when I got to Settings>Remores and Devices>Volume Control, and switch it from Auto to Off and then back to Auto. But when I do this, the Siri Remote will only control the volume for 5 seconds max.
I've also tried forgetting the remote and pairing it, but still the volume issue persists.
And I've now just completely reset the ATV to factory settings and updated to the latest tvOS again, but the volume problem persists.
Any ideas? This is very frustrating...
EDIT: I've also discovered the Siri Remote can't hear me when I try to use the Siri/audio command functions.
