Siri Remote - Volume Control with other device

Hey everyone,

I have hdmi-cec set up on all my home theater devices now (ATV4, PS4, TV, Receiver). The siri remote changes the volume, turns everything on and off just fine while using the Apple TV. However, tried to change the volume while using PS4, and it changed the input to Apple TV immediately while changing the volume.

Tried change volume control to receiver via IR instead of volume via hdmi, but no luck.

Anyone figure out if it's possible to actually use the siri remote for general volume & power control?
