Siri remote won't stop sending "Volume Down" command.

Yet another reason I should have waited before I bought this stupid thing. I can't point my Siri Remote toward my television because it won't stop sending a volume down signal. What could be even more fun than that, you ask? It doesn't stop even when I tell it to stop controlling the volume on anything.

What fun it has been to pay $200 to be a beta tester.

Contact Apple. I seriously doubt most people are having this problem, and they can't possibly test every TV/receiver combination out there to check for this sort of thing.
