Is there a way to have Siri not respond after a voice command? I’ll ask her to turn my bedroom lights on and she’ll say “ok, your bedroom lights are on.” Alexa just turns them on without any dialogue. Anyway to have Siri just turn the lights on without a response?

if the homepod in the same homkit room as the lights, she won't say anything.
since I guess in theory, you should be able to see the change since you're in the same room

Unfortunately though, as with all things Siri, completely unreliable.

I thought this was unreliable also, but I realized one of my lights is actually a lamp that is controlled by a smart plug. She still announces that one, even if in the same room. Although it is labeled in the app as a light, that seems to make no difference.

She announces everything in the same room with a smart plug, but not my Hue lights. When I play ambient sounds at night, she announces that as well.
