Just thought I'd share my experience with using multiple AppleIDs and how it impacts Siri.

I live in Canada, and so my main account is Canadian. This is the account I have iTunes Match, Apple Music and all of my purchased media tied to.

I also have a free US account for the App Store and I own rental property (with a cable subscription) in the states. Naturally, I load my iOS devices with many US-only video apps (HBO, Hulu, Showtime, major networks).

With the new AppleTV, I am able to access both Canadian and US content (many ways to circumvent geo-blocking) and the ability to quickly switch between accounts makes it easy to manage.

For people in similar situations, you should be aware that Siri will ONLY perform a cross-app search for the apps that are available for the currently logged-in AppleID, despite the fact that all apps work otherwise (regardless of account). So when I'm logged in to my Canadian AppleID, Siri will only search the iTunes Store and Netflix. Once I activate the US AppleID, it will search all supported apps.

This is a bit annoying for me since I basically need to choose between using Apple Music (for which I need to be using my Canadian AppleID) OR being able to take full advantage of cross-app universal search. And I would constantly need to switch between accounts if I ever wanted to download new apps.

I wish Siri could just search the currently installed apps and not consider the active AppleID. I wonder if this is intentional or simply a byproduct of the frameworks/APIs used to manage Siri and AppleIDs.

If anybody has found a way to work around this, I would appreciate to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
