I figured I would try out these Siri Shortcuts last night after upgrading my watch and phone. I may be misunderstanding how these work which could be causing my frustration.
1. Are these not able to work on HomePod right now? I have a shortcut through a 3rd party app "Yonomi". It links in my Logitech Harmony hub to turn on/off my tv and xbox. When I run this through my phone it works just fine, as expected. When I try to run it from the Watch or the HomePod it tells me that Siri Shortcuts are currently unavailable.
2. Do they not work when using CarPlay? I made a couple of shortcuts for driving. Example... I made a shortcut "Take me to work". This should pull up driving directions, start a playlist, and close my garage door. When I try to execute the command it tells me. "Siri shortcuts are not available while driving".
That seems to completely defeat the purpose of it for me. Am I missing something here? Is it just something with iOS 13 being buggy?
