HomePod Siri stopped saying good morning for the good morning scene

So woke up and wished Siri good morning and while tv turned on she just said ok….

I have a good morning scene which turns on the tv and she would say good morning the scene is set yesterday, but today…. What happened!

You know, we all have days when we get up and just don’t want to be civil. At least until our first cup of coffee.

I assume this was using a HomePod and a shortcut? Did you just upgrade your phone or your HomePod to 15?

Give it a day or so and if keeps happening go and re-do the Shortcut. Taking a page out of @adrianlondon ‘s tip in another thread, rebuild the shortcut using the same commands as now. Sometimes when moving between iOS versions (and, hence, Shortcuts versions) the Shortcuts commands change a little and some functionality breaks. Rebuilding it should restore that.

I did realise the HomePod mini is now on 15 but not my phone. And it was just an automation of the default good morning scene.. she’s just getting tad bit rude hahahaha
