Siri suggestions not working correctly

I’ve noticed Siri suggestions aren’t working right. Basically I’ve a meeting set up in calendar and Siri is suggesting i send a message saying I’m late but I can only see this suggestion if I pull down from the middle of the home screen whereas a few days ago this Siri suggestion would appear at the top of the screen so I wouldn’t have to go looking for it by pulling down on the middle of the screen but now it doesn’t seem to work that way.
