I ran across an odd Siri behavior. It’s not important, just odd. Usually if you ask Siri a question on the Watch it answers with something or says use a link on the iPhone.

Try this:

What model Watch is this

In this case it just hangs. The words are properly understood. The question doesn’t go away. I don’t get any kind of answer. The display just shows the question and there is no response at all no mater how long I wait (OK, 30 seconds or so). If I phrase it differently I get a response such as “sorry, I don’t understand.”

Just curious. Is it only me or do others see this? I showed it to an employee at the Apple story and they had no idea.

I wonder what is going on? Does it hit some sort of infinite loop? Maybe it’s asking for information from someplace which never replies?

I am so bored of all of the complaints about what Siri cannot do. We all know - Apple knows - that Siri is not right, and they have already promised that a release coming in the first half of this year (likely 26.4) will have the first update that will start to fix Siri. Until then we all know it's broken.

I’m not really complaining about this. I was just intrigued by the odd behavior. I’ve never seen it just not answer. Makes me curious about why it happened. I reported it to Apple.
