Siri won't find a symbolically linked Documents folder

I have a Media partition where Documents points to (a unix style symbolic link, not an alias, from my home folder '/Users/xxx/Documents -> /Volumes/Media/Universal Documents'). Siri just won't open it, even though it thinks it has. Does anyone have a solution? The same applied to similar folders, such as Downloads. It works great in general (perfect for multiple OSX boots), but it would be nice if Siri would understand a sym link.

I've raised the bug on each beta via the Assistant, but to no avail.
