I got my Apple Watch yesterday and i love it! But i'm having a problem where Siri won't open/launch apps for some reason. Siri works for everything else and I've tried restarting the watch by holding down both buttons, but that didn't fix it. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!! :D

Are you running the public beta of ios9 on your iPhone?

Just tried it with, "open messages" and "play music" both worked fine.

No, i don't.

Yeah, I tried all of that and siri says it cant find an app called "music" on my apple watch. It's really weird!

okay that is weird. I just closed the music app on my phone, and said "open music" and it opened the music remote control on my watch.

yeah that is not right. Try resetting both

Force restart iPhone: press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Force restart Apple Watch: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

I tried both of those & it still doesn't work :(

Might have to try unpairing the watch , and pairing it again.

No, i don't.

Ah ok, I have the same issue but I'm running the public beta, I just put it down to a bug in the beta software so I'm putting up with it!

I also tried the hard resetting and un-pairing but no improvement.

Let us know if you fix it!

I ended up un-pairing and then re-pairing, but it didn't fix it. However, I tried again 3 hours later and it magically started working. It's really weird, but I'm just glad it's working now!!
