Siri won't read my texts

Hey,

SoI have my apple headset on, and when someone texts me I ask Siri tu read me my text....she replies "you have no new text messages". How do I fix this?

Note: If I go to the text message screen where the text is, and try again Siri WILL go ahead and read it.

I would suggest turn siri off and back on.

Yup when my speech to text was missing i had to reset siri. Good first try for sure.
