I have one home room setup, via HomePod mini audio commands Siri has always just changed the volume, muted etc either silently or with an 'ok' which was spot on. Now she won't shut up, which is annoying because it often cuts out the sound of whatever is playing for the time she is talking... and it's just unnecessary.

Hey Siri turn it up - "Okay the media will play louder"
Hey Siri turn it down - "Okay the media will play more softly"
Hey Siri volume XX percent - "Media volume set to XX percent"
Hey Siri mute - "Ok I've changed it"
Hey Siri unmute - "media volume set to XX percent"

Only the first two really annoy me but as I have my TV, PS5, music and TV all come through the HomePods her blabbing on gets so repetitive, especially as she never used to be like this and I never changed any settings for this to happen! Is there any way to revert behaviour?

It could be worse. Hey, Siri, turn it up - "Don't you think it's loud enough already"?

Seriously, though, that's ridiculous. On iPhone, it shows Siri's response, but it's not audible. Totally unnecessary, as you say, because the audio volume feedback is all you need to know it worked. Sometimes I'm not sure what they're thinking at Apple ??‍♂️

Hope you're able to find a solution. Something tells me though that this is controlled completely by Apple, unfortunately.
