I wonder if anyone knows what the names are for Siri's new voices?? Because the original Siri voice was made available on OSX's text-to-speech control panel. I'm using it to read things on my iMac. Of course, her name wasn't Siri...

hint: it's Samantha.

You can add more voices by clicking on the customize button on the text-to-speech panel, and picking from the drop-down list.

I'm assuming Siri is the name of the code and not the sound of the voice. Siri's name won't change. But if your asking the Siri:Samantha relation, I've never heard those voices previously so I'm not sure. Perhaps they're brand new.

I really hope they add British voices on a par with the new and improved American male and female ones. I'm too attached to my Weakest Link Siri guy and don't want to have an American voice, natural-sounding or not!
