On iOS 7.1.
Verizon iPhone 5S.
Dictation nor Siri working.
Been like this since yesterday around noon.
Tried network reset and shutting on/off Siri.
Anyone else's not working?
Don't want to restore just yet.

Siri not working

I have gotten this same message several times over the last two weeks. Also, sometime Siri is just not there!
 
I'm on 7.0.6 and it works for me, maybe just a 7.1 issue? I wouldn't restore.
 
Working just fine for the last few days and today with all my request, including weather :D

I have the exact same problem and tried the same stuff you did. Verizon iPhone 5S running 7.1. My wife has a nearly identical 5S but is running 7.0.6 and isn't having any problems. This is weird.

P.S. sundog, where are you located? As my profile suggests, I'm in the LA area.

San Francisco Bay Area. Pretty widespread to be a "problem". Maybe just Verizon? It's weird, it's been working with 7.1 until yesterday.
 
Yeah, I really don't get it. Same result whether I'm on wifi or not. Wife's phone is working totally fine. Our wifi-only iPad with 7.1 is also fine. If it's not back up and running by Monday morning, I'll call up Verizon...

Still working fine today in the same general area on Verizon using iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.
 
Not to be rude but would I really post if I had done that? Did you read my first post?
 
Siri wasn't working for me last night but today is fine. I did nothing, not even a restart. I figure the issue is at Apple's ( server ) end.
 
UPDATE:
Siri is now working normally along with dictation.
Not sure what was going on. Probably on Verizon's end.
