Yes, Stuffit is a necessary app for expanding things...and The Unarchiver is good for when it doesn't work

On a slightly related topic...I only a couple weeks ago realized that StuffitExpander was a Universal app. It SCREAMS now. Launches in less than a second on unstuffs files very quickly.

I was quite pleased to see that improvement. I was using an older version that was slower than cold tar...
