Site that recommends when to buy Mac's

I know there is a site that lists each Apple product, their last update time, the history of past updates, etc. so as to recommend when it is a good time to buy a Mac or not.

But I can't remember the site.

On a similar note, I wonder if there's a site that provides up-to-date news and analysis of all the rumors percolating about the Mac community. Maybe something with forums, as well, so site visitors can chat back and forth about the latest "Mac rumors." Anyone here know of a place like that?

When people can't see what should be in front of their nose, perhaps a little site overhaul should be considered in the medium term... just to improve the clarity, legibility and navigation.

A little off-topic, but...
A calendar would be pretty cool... showing all posted rumors in calendar form, showing when products are supposed to show, major trade shows, and such. A visual representation of the rumors would be a cool alternate to the archives. Eh? Mods? Eh??
