I wonder what the temperature difference is before and after the hard drives are added. They look like they block a lot of airflow in the case.

I've heard about that.

According to him, he says it hasn't blocked airflow and it works fine.

He uses a seperate PC tower (no mobo, all hard drives) with I don't know how many hard drives stored inside of it.

Granted that five is no six, if you want, this product used to be popular in the niche... and they've done a lot of testing and validation and so on, I think.

I had that in my G5. I modified the 2 fans for better airflow though. Nice little kit from OWC.
