I’m curious how common certain sizes are so please post what you’re working with.

I ended up with 21W and M bands which seems about right for my average head. I never considered my face as “wide” though.

I have a big head, but narrow face I guess (pretty slim). Got 21W S. Probably need to exchange for a M band I'm guessing. This was using an iPhone 15 pro, multiple scans.

You also need to ask if corrective lenses were ordered - apparently they change the light seal size....

I ordered mine without any correction as I don't have current prescription.
Hoping to order separately if I need it (very light correction) after trying it out.

Interesting, thanks! Does it increase both the number and the N/W?

I also should have mentioned I got different sizes between my M1 iPad Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. One measurement with the iPad had me at 33W but I went with the iPhone measurements as it was consistently 21W.

Looks like just the number. Interestingly - choosing no lenses is currently showing early March delivery. If I add readers, the seal bumps from 21W to 25W, with Feb 2 delivery. So it may be the light seal, not the main device that is the supply constraint? Oof. Lots of demand for that 21W.

This is correct.

Light seal and cushion are already available as separate accessories. So you can order a second set for your device, or a set to use with someone else's. You do the same measuring process and they tell you the size.

Thanks!

This is good to know because other people can use it as well.

Nice to share such an expensive device!

Ah so the number must just be the depth of the light seal, how close your eyes will be to the lenses of the Vision Pro.

I ordered a 21w for 2/6 delivery

Rescanned an our later, got 22w with 2/2 delivery

All else same

So it would appear that light seal size affects shipping time

Yes, 21W seems to be very popular based on initial orders.

I have not seen a 22W until now.

I am hoping that Apple store will allow for exchange because I got 2 different sizes depending on the device I used to scan (iPhone = 21W; iPad = 25W).

What do the numbers and letters mean. What is a 21 vs a 33? I get that W means wide. What does small or other designations mean?

Has anyone gotten or seen L?

I have a large head, but was surprised to get M, wonder if its based on width rather than circumference, with both straps being adjustable

Have only seen S and M.

Not heard of L.

Coming in with M band.

With my big US 7-3/4 hat size, I thought for sure I'd get the L band.🤣

Yea Im 7 5/8:) Contacted Apple, but they said the scan is incredibly accurate, worst case, at least the bands are not wildly expensive, and look to be pretty adjustable

It's interesting that a lot of people are landing on 21W, considering there are 28 different sizes for the light seal.

They are:
  • 11N/W
  • 12N/W
  • 13N/W
  • 14N/W
  • 21N/W
  • 22N/W
  • 23N/W
  • 24N/W
  • 25N/W
  • 26N/W
  • 33N/W
  • 34N/W
  • 35N/W
  • 36N/W

Thanks for providing all of the size options. I’m guessing there are a lot of 21W because it seems like the “average” for people that aren’t using a lens insert. And then once you add a corrective lens insert it will bump it up to 25 or so. What’s really curious is I haven’t seen any N sizes posted. Probably only children or very slight women would need a narrow size.
