hey fellas, so im having a little problem replacing the slider icons. i have old icons from my old jailbroken 3g. i decided i liked them enough to use them again on my i4. i went ahead and replaced all of the necessary files via ssh but now the size of the icon is extremely small. the size was perfect on my old 3g. 99% sure it has to do with the new resoultion/screen of the new phone. how would i go about getting them to the appropriate size? check the picture :D

iphone 4 uses slightly different file names for things like sms balloons, sliders, icon sizes ect...try adding a @2x between the file name and the .png if that doesnt work try @2x~iphone in the same spot , im pretty sue you use the one with ~iphone if your one OS 4.1 if your on a lower version use just the @2x

all i did was rename the icons i had with the same name that were already on the phone. there were 2 of each (one with @2x and one without). i just renamed all 3 with the @2x and the other 3 without and replaced them through ssh. should i have just replaced one of them?

are you on OS 4.1?

well that seems to be the problem then. the icons im putting in are 4.4kb's and 52x49. i have no idea how to change that though

edit: the default icons are 142x94 at 3.74kb

no i meant the default as in the original slider icon (i backed them up)

sent, im sure the quality will be pretty crappy now that they will be resized. i guess photoshop would be the only way to clear them up?

perfect. yea it did a little bit. i found a vid on how to make them HD but id need photoshop. eh oh well, thanks for the help, really appreciate your time
