Hello! I'm at the apple store right now getting a new iPhone 5 because mine had manufacturer dents and the earbuds are completely busted. At the same time I thought I would ask about the "Other" storage in the iPhone. She said that the operating system itself is about 3 gigs. Data of apps does not even come close to the 3 gigs... Just wondering if this is correct.

Thank you.

nope

my other is less than a gig

she doesnt know what shes talking about

The OS is no where near 3 gigs anyways

The OS is on a hidden partition. Wouldn't show up in other at any rate

She also said two hour battery drain gets normal after usuage to another customer, therefore I wanted to ask. That other has bugged me forever. Even going into my new iPhone doesn't help. It doesn't take up my iCloud storage either. So weird. I'll get another appointment so someone can help me.
