Hello, so I had one of the original iphones and my touchscreen died about two months ago. So I've been planning on upgrading this summer (it's been a very rough two months without an iphone).

Now I plan on utilizing the video recording of the Iphone 3Gs quite a bit; but I'm not quite sure I need 32 GB of space. I'd rather spend the extra hundred on a Applecare warranty (to prevent another touchscreen failure) and get a 16 GB one.

So my question is. How much space does the video take up once recorded. For example how much space would a 5 minute video take up? 1 minute video?

Also since the photos are better quality; will they take up substantially more space?

Thank you for your help

It's VGA quality (640x480), so that's about 2GBs an hour, or 34MB a minute.
