Okay. I RARELY save music on my hard drive. If I delete music off of iTunes, I almost ALWAYS send them to the trash and then delete them after. But, this does NOT make sense. If I were to keep some files, these two sizes should be close to each other, not 1.5GB off!
Look at my iTunes Music folder. 9.23GB. Now, look at the bottom of the screen, 7.7GB. Shouldn't those numbers be somewhat close to each other considering the fact that I save a couple songs? I don't want to reload my entire collection. I just need to find out what songs aren't on iTunes that are in my directory. Any suggestions? I don't want to go through every album.
But, ~1.5GB is A LOT to be missing.
