Hi All,

I just installed the Sketchbook Express for FREE from the Mac App Store. Its a very good app and they claim that it is optimized for pen tablet.. But when I tried working with the Wacom Pen I have, it is not inputting any of my strokes. It does recognize my keystrokes, but when i lift my pen off the tablet, everything I input using the pen disappears. Its really weird. It works fine with the mouse though. Can anyone let me know what could be wrong? My tablet works really well with Acrobat without any issues.. What could be wrong here ??

I got the opposite effect with my Bamboo Touch tablet. The pen wouldn't stop drawing, just kept scribbling, which made stopping & starting lines impossible. I updated my software which did seem to fix things, but I still found it a bit awkward. Maybe updating will help you. A warning though, after updating, I did find that my browsers would continually scroll upwards, not sure if it is related. I did restart the comp, and everything seemed fine.

One thing I did find unusual, is that Sketchbook Express doesn't seem to start unless I have an internet connection. I wonder if this is intentional, as the other apps I've purchased from the Mac App store don't require me to be online.

try updating the software, and retry your keystrokes, it could also be there is a default that needs to be set up between sketchbook and your tablet for it to resolve the issue.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions. I tried doing this - Went to system preferences and selected ink and selected the check box "allow me to ink over the tablet surface".. After that it seemed to work fine..

do you guys know what the **** this is?!

what is this?! i cant delete it... its just some ****ed up little sqiggly line. wtf
