SketchUp 6!!

ok - I don't know how many people use sketchup, but the new version is on the website!!!

apparently it's a free upgrade from v5 -

Ah, I can finally turn off "fast feedback".

Seeing all those extra lines turned me off from Sketchup the first time I used it on my Mac.

If you use the freebie version, don't trash version 5, because the new one takes away vector (PDF/EPS) export. (6 can save back to 5's format, so you can still upgrade and keep the old one around just for the export.)

sketchup6 on mac no fly

I installed sketchup 6 on our minimac. Alert box said " installation successful" But when clicking on the its icon in the dock, it just bounces one time and nothing happens. Restarted the mac and re-installed sketchup 6. No fly!?

I downloaded 6 the day it came out. I have been using SketchUp for years and I have always said that it is my favorite modeling program, by far. Absolutely love it and I am thrilled that it is now universal. Anyone that likes SketchUp should definitely check out another program called Piranesi. They work extremely well together.
