So, on my second iPhone 3G (first one took an accidental plunge into a washing machine). Normally I don't like using "skins", "screen protectors", et al (my argument has always been "a phone is a phone" -- I didn't want to give the iPhone any special treatment). However, after spending $800 on iPhones in the past month ($300 originally and $500 unsubsidized price) I'm feeling more inclined to protect it.

In any case, I bought a soft rubber skin at AT&T. It works well -- fits the iPhone perfectly. However, when I try to dock, it doesn't stay flush. So, sometimes I get a half-sync, or no sync at all.

I'd rather not take the skin off everytime I want to dock (which is usually nightly). Is there any skins out there that work with the dock?

that or see if it works with the apple universal dock. My original iphone and the case I bought work perfectly in the dock that came with my ipod photo, but dont fit in the iphone dock itself.
