I remember this was a big deal last year when the iPhone XS came out, and Apple claimed to have fixed it.

I'm coming from the iPhone X so didnt have that present, but I definitely notice there to be some skin smoothing on.

For the XS and 11 Pro owners, is this Apple's "fix" of the skin smoothing or ("BeautyGate") that was around a year ago?

Anyway to turn this off?
