Skip during Apple Music streaming

Is anyone else having an issue with almost every track skipping at exactly 15 seconds from the beginning?

I've had that issue for years in macOS and have never found any explanation. I guess iOS is finally catching up!

Yes I've noticed it on a few tracks. But never had it before. Maybe its linked to the AutoMix feature, probably a bug.

Could be a subscription issue. For example, if you have downloaded tracks and your subscription payment has expired, songs will only play for the first 15 seconds. If the subscription is not the issue but you do have downloaded songs, try redownloading/re-adding songs. You'll find this problem on forums going back many years and iOS versions, mostly relating to these points.

Interesting. It is not a subscription payment issue, as it is part of my Apple One bundle, automatically debited from my Apple Card account. I understand about caching, but I rarely download songs to a device. Almost everything is live streamed.

The concept of re-adding the songs in my library is daunting.

I’m getting this issue even when replaying a track immediately after it finishes. The skip is always at 15 seconds.

Yes and it happens on every Apple device I own and even non-Apple devices such as my Amazon Echo which streams Apple Music. It's really irritating and Apple must surely be aware of it?

I’ll report it again. I realized that it is also happening when streaming through SONOS.
