skip the scroll lock to unlock

is there a way to just tap the screen or something similar to unlock the ipod touch without having to use the scroll thing? I am on 1.1.4
please advice thanks.

Sorry I don't think there is, atleast not that I know of. I too have 1.1.4. Is it such a burden?

As of right now, no. And unless some third-party app comes out that disables the slider, I think it will be there for the duration of the iPod Touch's life.

I like it though, I think it's an awesome way to unlock it.

in the installer app, I have all the sources possible on, so it should show up, if not, there is one not on the installer

well that's odd, for me the customize 2.9 package says ipodtouched.com at the top... But ste probably has it, he has everything
