Skitch- Does it contain spyware?

Does Skitch program contain a virus program or spyware? I recently down loaded it and I noticed it said "Bot" on it. Not an expert, but I thought a bot was a virus. I heard good reviews on this program but do not want it unless it's safe.

What are your thoughts? I was looking for a good screen capture program that I can resize, notes..etc real easy.

Very unlikely it has malware attached, I did a quick Google, and it looks safe.

No. Plasq is one of THE best mac developers out there and skitch is a great product. I use it myself.

Thanks every one. I am told i don't need a virus program on my Mac Pro set up, but wondering if that is true.
