Skitch goes 1.0, now rotating images costs 19.95$/year

It's an understatement to say that I appreciate their work, and for sure I'm gonna pay for Skitch plus, but seriously rotating, flipping, fonts shouldn't be premium features.

Also, I'd like to just buy a lifetime license, with limited hosting space of course (2gb like dropbox maybe), what's with all these people asking you for yearly fees lately.

Looks like the developers never realized that Preview has those same functions, for free with every single Mac.

I've been a HUGE fan of Skitch and have said since the beginning of the beta that I'd gladly pay $50 for this app. But a subscription model? How does that make any sense if I'm not using their hosting or bandwidth? That just leaves a real bad taste in my mouth.

It's not about the money, I'm just not interested at all in renting applications.
