wasn't sure where to put this one..

anyway, i have my broadband with SKY and had the router 2-3 years...

can i phone them up and ask for the latest router? will it be that much of a difference as I'm getting new devises that handle the latest specs and wondering if new router that would have that??

If I remember correctly the Sky Q router if that is what you are referring is currently only coming with Sky Q installations for now.

The new sky hub is recently available to purchase, can't remember cost70 I think

If your out of contract then asking for a new one will trigger a new contract. Personally I'd buy an off the shelf modem with more features.
