Hi,

Does anyone know how to store SKY programmes to a MAC? Basically I want be able to record BBC1 & ITV simultaneously to my MAC and/or external hard disk. Then I want to be able to stream either programme, but what SW is best?
I live abroad and cannot get BBC or ITV but I can get it recorded and put it on a streaming server.....I guess.

I know there is an analogue output from the SKY box and I've seen a company that are also able to output a digital signal from a modified SKY box but this only works on a PC and I don't want to spend good money on a PC if I can help it:mad:

So in short, how do I record programmes simultaneously and what sort of streaming SW will do this?

Actually, is it possible to just have a SKY Plus box and copy over the contents to my MACs HD and then stream it? I guess an apple script could do this? Sorry just thought of that:rolleyes:
