Hey

I've been checking out the eyeTV, and it looks like a great bit of kit

However, I'd be keen to get the signal out of my Sky digibox, and transmit it to my MBP so I can watch the football / soccer in bed!

Is there a relatively clean way of doing this?

I guess it would involve SCART cables and a box, but can't think what else would be needed. Note that I have a LCD TV, so perhaps I could transmit the signal from that aswell

Any help appreciated

thanks

I have Sonys Location Free TV because I use my PSP as a LFTV monitor.

hey there

I'm in the UK

thanks

From the Elgato/EyeTV site:

"Sky is a proprietary system that only supports its own encryption system and set-top box. If you would like to watch Sky with EyeTV, you can connect EyeTV 250/EyeTV Wonder USB 2.0/EyeTV EZ/EyeTV USB to your Sky set-top box. Channels on your Sky set-top box cannot be changed automatically using EyeTV, therefore you must ensure that the cable/satellite box is tuned to the channel you wish to record."
