iPod touch skydock problem

I've been using the skydock for awhile with no problems, until a few days ago, I don't know what changed to cause this. while listening to podcasts, books or music, I'm getting a whistle through the speakers when my lights are on, but NOT while I'm listening to XM.. It never did this before. Any ideas?
