A pal set up Skydrive for us to share files in video and photos. Two problems have occurred.

1/ Initially when I uploaded my stuff and then wanted to view it, I opened the videos with VLC which is pretty good for most things. That was OK. Now - newer videos I have uploaded don't appear in my VLC file available to open.

2/ Videos cannot be downloaded from Skydrive, but I think that is an ongoing thing.

why can't you download the files?
has the folder been shared? that's the big one.

The folder is set up by my pal for us both to access it and view stuff. I click on download and nothing happens.

If I open VLC and then go into FILE then open files, I can see few of the videos I uploaded into Skydrive, but I have since uploaded more and they don't appear.

Sorry not techie and unsure of term browser as i thought that was Safari, do you mean another programme other than VLC? I have tried Quicktime, I have Elmedia I think, maybe try that.

Are you accessing Skydrive only through your web browser? You can install Skydrive on your Mac then drag and drop files like you would to any drive or folder in Finder.
