OK....so I went to rent the HD version of Skyfall to watch on my 15" mid-2012 MBP Retina.

Got a message

This cannot be played in HD on this computer.

You must rent and watch the HD version on an HD-compatible device. Or, you can rent the SD version and watch it on this computer.

I've watched a lot of HD movies from iTunes rentals before. My OSX is updated, well over 60 gig of storage space left......out of ideas.

Any thoughts ?

(found this thread from a few weeks ago but doesn't look like any resolution was arrived at.....

Update :

Decided to Restart my MBP since I haven't "turned it off" in ages. Well....went back to iTunes and it seems to be downloading fine.

I'll post another update but that might be all it took ? <fingers crossed>

Lolz don't you hate but love issues that only needed a reboot.

Hope it works out.

I always get caught by the "you should've restarted" bugs -_-

The worst part is, you have no idea what it was lol. It will forever be a mystery.
