Skype account in another program

Iam using skype and keeping myself to an old version, don't like the new once where everything is integrated into one window and you can't split them, I want to be able to do what I want, and now when Microsoft brought Skype... it feel that I really need this

So I wounder if there is a program like Adium is for MSN, iChat etc but for skype, so you still can call all your skype friends and have video conference

I'm literally 99% sure there isn't.

There were third party apps which could utilise Skype such as Nimbuzz and Fring, but their access was revoked. It would appear that they're no longer allowing 3rd party access at all.

thats bumer! I want something simple for skype and it feels like they really going the design way and you are not able to change anything anymore oO
