Skype Alternative

Anyone recommend a good Skype alternative? Microsoft suspended my account for some reason and after not being able to answer such memorable life events like what year did I create my account, I have decided that Microsoft wins, I Wil no longer use skype, anyone have a suggestion for a good alternative?

Hangouts it's pretty low quality but it's is an alternative.
Make a new skype account perhaps?

A lot of people are using Viber now, I think they have better rates I think if you plan on making calls to landlines etc.
