Skype for iPhone + Bluetooth

Is it just me or can you not use the bluetooth headset with skype app? My headset works well with the regular phone.app and allows me to talk without having to hold my phone up; however, while using the skype app the bluetooth doesn't work at all... I can only hear the other person through the iPhone headset or the speaker if the speaker is turned on. Anyone else experience this? If not, can someone run a quick test?
